Praying Psalm 101 For My Children
Psal 101:1 (KJS) A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto
thee, O LORD, will I sing.
Lord, I pray that my children will sing of your mercy, loving-kindness and
justice. To You, Lord, may they sing.
2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me?
I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
May _______ behave them-self wisely and give heed to the blameless way - O
Lord, when will you breakthrough and come to them? Help me be patient in your
timing. May they walk within our house, and anywhere else they walk, in
integrity and a blameless heart. Help them to see things with your eyes, O Lord.
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that
turn aside; [it] shall not cleave to me.
May _____ commit to set no base thing or wicket thing before their eyes.
May they make a covenant with their eyes. May they recognize and hate the work
of them who turn aside from the right path; may those ways not grab them, clasp
them, snare them or stick to them.
4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked [person].
Cause _____ to put away a froward, perverse or divided heart; may ____
choose to know NO evil person or things, but choose Godliness.(Ps 51:10)
5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an
high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
Cause _____ to cut off all gossip and slander from themselves, and choose
to not participate in it. Open their eyes to see the proud and arrogant heart,
and make it detestable and disgusting to them.
Prov 18:21 (KJS) Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that
love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
May they choose to speak life.
6 Mine eyes [shall be] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with
me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
May _____ look with favor on the faithful saints in the land and those
here in our home; let _____ search out those who walk blameless, in
uprightness, in a perfect way for counsel and teaching.
7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies
shall not tarry in my sight.
Cause _____'s heart to hate lying and deception, and to separate
themselves from any untruth, and not to bring it into this home, or into their
hearts.
8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all
wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
May _____ rise up every morning, with a bold determination to root out
wickedness and evil in their heart, that _____'s heart would be dedicated as
the throne room of God, and that they would claim your mercies every morning.
(Lam 3:22-23, Ps 63:1)
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You promise
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto
me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in
the thing] whereto I sent it. Isai 55:11
I stand on this promise for myself and my children:
Phil 1:6 (KJS) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a
good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:
And it's in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
