Isai 59:19 (KJS) So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
Prov 18:10 (KJS) The name of the LORD [is] a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Song 2:4 (KJS) He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me [was] love.
We are in a Battle. God raises a banner over us, in love, to declare we are His. That banner is His name. He covenants with us with His name. We lift up His name in Praise, we draw near to Him, by his name, through Christ Jesus.
Jame 4:7 (KJS) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded.
Psal 15:1 (KJS) A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

As we tear down strongholds of the enemy, there are empty places in our spirit that must be filled (Mt 12:43-45) or the enemy will come and fill them again (bind the strong man, Mk 3:27...but don't leave the house empty). We must acknowledge our sins before God, and repent, asking Him to cover them with the Blood, and take back the ground that the enemy has settled in to. Then, we must build towers of truth to replace the dark lies that we have believed for too long. We can build towers of truth, based on God's name, and set up a rampart that the enemy cannot stand against.
